On Tuesday , a deputy with the Troup County Sheriff’s dept. responded to 341 Jim Turner Road in reference to a missing person. Once on scene the complainant stated that her husband James Ralph Taylor Sr., 73 years of age, who has dementia and Parkinson’s had left the residence in a 2001 Buick Lesabre with Georgia Tag WPZ247 and had not returned home.
Mr. Taylor was last seen at the Charter Bank on S. Davis road around 4 PM on Tuesday , and he is 5’7, around 200 pounds, has grey hair, brown eyes and was last seen wearing black tennis shoes, black pants, a black t-shirt and red polo. He was also wearing a black fedora hat and a dark brown jacket and may have scratches and bruising on his face.
If anyone has seen Mr. Taylor and or the vehicle he was driving you are asked to call our investigators at 706-883-1616 or 911 to report the information. There is no reason to believe anything criminal has happened to Mr. Taylor at this point.
