Audrey Poorman added to Auburn soccer roster

AUBURN, Ala. – The Auburn soccer program and head coach Karen Hoppa announced the addition of Wisconsin transfer Audrey Poorman to the fall roster.

“We are really excited to add Audrey to our signing class,” Hoppa said. “She’s a true wide player who can play anywhere on the flank and has a sweet left foot. She will be a great addition to our team.”

Poorman comes to The Plains after spending the 2018 season on the Wisconsin roster. She played in all five spring contests for the Badgers before redshirting last fall.

Originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Poorman played at the club level for coach Christian Lavers and FC Wisconsin of the ECNL. She was a three-time team captain and two-time participant in the ECNL National Playoffs.

Poorman was also a track and field standout during her prep career and was invited to the USATF Hershey National Junior Olympic Track & Field Championships.

Like many others on the soccer team, Poorman excels in the classroom as she was named to the Dean’s List as a freshman at Wisconsin.
