Florida Cops Deliver Pizza To Young Boy Who Called 911 Saying He Was Hungry

Officers from the Sanford Police Department in Florida were dispatched to perform a welfare check on a young boy after he called 911 saying he was hungry. While the officers were on the way to home, the dispatcher told them boy wanted to order pizza. When they arrived at the house, they spoke to his older sister who told them her brother had used the phone without her permission.

The officers determined that the young boy was fine and explained to him that 911 should only be used for emergencies. The officers left but did not return to the police station. Instead, they went to Pizza Hut and picked up a large pie which they personally delivered to the boy and his sister.

The Sanford Police Department shared a photo on Facebook of the three officers and young boy, who seemed more interested in the pizza than in posing for the photo.
