Kelsea Ballerini is still reliving an unforgettable moment with global icon Shania Twain, sharing the stage with her during a historic performance in Nashville, Tennessee. The “HEARTFIRST” star joined Twain to perform one of Twain’s biggest 90s anthems during her headlining “Queen Of Me Tour” stop in Music City on Jun 7. It was the first-ever show held at the massive stadium.
Ballerini shared a clip of the moment on TikTok, starting with a rehearsal shot and, within seconds, flashing forward to the performance before a packed crowd that night. She wrote in her caption: “i love this woman with my whole heart. what a special show in nashville with [Shania Twain] this week 🤍👯♀️”
The pair teamed up to perform Twain’s “(If You’re Not In It for Love) I’m Outta Here!,” which appeared on The Woman In Me in the 90s. That collection also included “Any Man Of Mine,” “Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under?,” “You Win My Love” and other iconic tracks.
Twain performed her career-spanning hits as she headlined the first-ever concert at GEODIS Park, Nashville CS’s new home, which opened in 2022. The venue is “one of the premier sports and entertainment destinations in the United States,” becoming the largest soccer-specific stadium in the U.S. and Canada with 30,000 seats. The concert included Ballerini and Breland as special guests, and Twain surprised the crowd with Tanya Tucker, Wynonna Judd and The BoykinZ. The global tour is named after Twain’s latest album, Queen of Me, which made its debut earlier this year. Other artists set to join the tour on select dates include Lindsay Ell, Hailey Whitters, Robyn Ottolini, Priscilla Block, and Mickey Guyton.
“Nashville!!! Last night was a dream come true 💖 Thank you so much for coming out and rocking with us!!” Twain gushed in an Instagram caption after the show. “What a beautiful night having [Tanya Tucker], [Wynonna Judd], [Kelsea Ballerini], [Breland], and [The BoykinZ] join me on stage. I think we broke in the new stadium quite nicely 😉🤠❤️”
