Chris Stapleton, Post Malone Slated To Open Star-Studded 58th CMA Awards

Chris Stapleton and Post Malone will join forces to open the 58th CMA Awards, the Country Music Association announced on Thursday morning (November 7).

The duo will kick off the star-studded show with “a performance you won’t want to miss,” followed by performances by Dierks Bentley (featuring Molly Tuttle, Sierra Hull and Bronwyn Keith-Hynes), Luke Bryan, Ashley McBryde, Post Malone, Shaboozey, Chris Stapleton, Thomas Rhett and Teddy Swims, and Lainey Wilson. The Country Music Association noted: “Stay tuned, there may be some more of your favorites gearing up to hit the stage!”

Returning hosts Bryan and Peyton Manning will team up with reigning Entertainer of the Year Wilson to host the 58th CMA Awards as a trio. Wilson is also one of the leading nominees, along with Luke CombsJelly RollMorgan WallenCody JohnsonMegan MoroneyKacey Musgraves and other powerhouse singer-songwriters. Additional performers and presenters have yet to be announced as of publication time on Thursday morning. The 58th CMA Awards will take place at Bridgestone Arena in Downtown Nashville, Tennessee. The show is set for Wednesday, November 20. It will air live at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT on ABC, and will be available the following day on Hulu.
