Oscar Mayer is hiring a dozen "Hotdoggers" for year-long, full-time positions to drive their iconic Wienermobiles, a 27-foot-long hot dog on wheels. Applicants have until January 31st to apply for the 37th class of Hotdoggers, a role that involves traveling and maintaining one of the six Wienermobiles, covering an average of 20-thousand miles, visiting over 20 states, and distributing 250-thousand Wiener Whistles annually. The role also includes creating content for the brand's social media and participating in unique promotional activities, like overseeing weddings and introducing new products. Less than 1% of applicants are selected for this role, making it rarer than admission to an Ivy League university, with recommended qualifications including a bachelor's degree and strong communication skills. The position offers a base salary of $35,600, a weekly allowance, paid time off, health benefits, and covered hotel expenses.
