Auburn man arrested for unlawful breaking/entering a motor vehicle and more

AUBURN, Ala.-  On July 10, 2019, the Auburn Police Division arrested Cameron J. Oden, 19 years old, from Auburn, for unlawful breaking and entering a motor vehicle and fleeing/attempting to elude a police officer.

At approximately 2 a.m. on July 10, 2019, while patrolling the 400 block of West Longleaf Drive, an officer observed a male subject rummaging through a vehicle and in possession of a flashlight. The suspect fled on foot and was apprehended and identified as Cameron J. Oden. Further Investigation confirmed Oden unlawfully entered a 2010 Silver Mazda 3 in an attempt to steal property.

Oden was taken into custody and charged with unlawful breaking and entering a motor vehicle and fleeing/attempting to elude a police officer and was transported to the Lee County Jail for further processing. At the time of this offense, Oden was out on bond for a previous felony arrest; he is being held on a $6,000 bond.
