Auburn woman arrested for unlawful breaking & entering, etc.

AUBURN, Ala.- On July 12, 2019, Auburn Police arrested Erin Hydia Daniels, age 25, from Auburn, Alabama on warrants charging her with breaking and entering a motor vehicle and theft of property second degree.

The arrest stems from an investigation into a breaking and entering a motor vehicle that occurred in the 1100 block of South College Street in March 2019. A handgun was reported stolen. During the investigation, Auburn Police discovered the gun had been sold locally after it was stolen. Daniels was identified as the suspect, and the handgun was recovered.

Daniels was taken into custody and transported to the Lee County Jail where she was being held on a $6,000 bond. This case remains under investigation by the Auburn Police Division.
