Vince Gill Cancels Shows After After Dropping Out Of CMA Awards

Well wishes going out to Vince Gill who is under the weather.

The singer missed the CMA Awards on Wednesday where he was scheduled to perform with Ricky Skaggs after being hospitalized, and now he has had to cancel several upcoming shows, including his Thursday show in Birmingham and his Friday show in St. Louis.

The 61-year-old's illness  was a mystery until  Brothers Osborne guitarist John Osborne revealed on the red carpet that Gill had a kidney stone. The Brothers Osborne ended up filling in for Gill, along with Keith Urban, in an all-star country and bluegrass jam led by Skaggs that was a show highlight.

Vince also had a show scheduled for Saturday in Indianapolis. It's not clear if that show will go on or not.
